This file describes publicly accessible files in the tcl-debug distribution directory. There may seem to be a lot of files here but most people just need to get tcl-debug.tar.Z. After transferring it to your site, uncompress it as follows: % uncompress tcl-debug.tar.Z Then untar it: % tar -xvf tcl-debug.tar This will create a directory containing the source and documentation. Change to that directory and read the README file for further instructions. - Don README this file. README.distribution This is the README that comes with tcl-debug. It is the first file you should read after unpacking the distribution. HISTORY description of different versions of tcl-debug. This is included in the tcl-debug distribution itself, but is also made available separately so that you can quickly find out if a new version of tcl-debug is available (that fixes the bug you reported) without downloading and unpacking the whole thing. tcl-debug.tar.gz A debugger for Tcl applications. This includes the paper in tcl-debug.ps.Z. tcl-debug.ps.Z tcl-debug-talk.ps.Z "A Debugger for Tcl Applications", Proceedings of the 1993 Tcl/Tk Workshop, Berkeley, CA, June 10-11, 1993. This paper describes how to use the debugger and how to integrate it into other Tcl applications.
